At Xentara Connection Day 2026, BenThor automation will present the BENTHORcube powered by Xentara and demonstrate how software-based control is transforming special-purpose machine building.
On 1 July 2026, the automation industry will gather in Munich for the Xentara Connection Day. As both a technology partner and customer of Xentara, BenThor automation will be on site, presenting one of the first standardized special-purpose machines based on the software-defined automation platform Xentara, together with embedded ocean.
With the BENTHORcube powered by Xentara, BenThor automation demonstrates how modern machine control can be implemented today. Instead of a conventional PLC, the system is powered by the real-time capable and hardware-independent Xentara platform. The result is a flexible control architecture with reduced hardware requirements, enhanced future-proofing, and significantly simplified software development.
Visitors will experience the BENTHORcube in live operation and gain insight into the interaction between software-based control, modern HMI technology, and industrial laser applications.
A special highlight of the event is the presentation by our CEO, Armin Grozinger. From the perspective of both a technology partner and a customer, he will explain how standardized platforms enable custom machine concepts to be implemented more economically, more flexibly, and in less time.
Using a practical real-world example, he will demonstrate the role of software-based control systems and explain why standardization will become a key success factor in special-purpose machine building.
In addition to the presentation, Armin Grozinger and Sven Wachter will be available throughout the event to discuss topics such as special-purpose machinery, robotics, laser applications, and software-based automation solutions.
Take the opportunity to experience the BENTHORcube live, exchange ideas with our experts, and learn more about the possibilities offered by modern automation concepts.
We look forward to welcoming you to the Xentara Connection Day 2026.
